Gemco 956 eBlok
Gemco 956 eBlok is a linear position sensing solution designed for applications that choose traditional linear potentiometers for position monitoring. The 956 eBlok utilizes Magnetostrictive technology to give absolute analog position, repeatable to 0.001% of the programmable sensing distance. The 956 eBlok is a self-contained unit with no head assembly and is designed to work in applications with high temperature, repetitive movement, high shock and vibration, or anywhere that will benefit from protection from dirt, chips or other containments.

Compact Dual Lane 90° Case and Product Rotation
Multi-Conveyor recently built a compact dual lane 90° case turner to rotate and align single lane filled cases that quickly transfer onto an existing case sealer. The stainless steel, wash down system is 5 ft. long end-to-end. The belt on the left will run significantly faster than the belt to the right, causing the case to turn. The first single belt is running faster to provide an adequate gap between products to ensure turning without products colliding. The left lane can be adjusted to run at the same speed as the belt to the right when product turns are not required or straight line conveyance is preferred.

Fully Integrated AI Syringe Inspection Line
Earlier this year, Syntegon installed the first fully validated AI-equipped visual inspection system. Now the company is offering the integrated AIM 5 syringe line with selectable AI by default — available for the inspection of the flange, the stopper and the cylinder. Syntegon’s AI vision system has the ability to increase detection rates and decrease the number of false rejects. The line is designed for gentle handling: The robotic de-nester removes the syringes from the nest and places them precisely in a single infeed lane, while the re-nester gently puts them back into the nest after inspection.

TLS Series L-Sealers with 24/7 Operation
The TLS Series L-Sealer shrink wrapping systems now come with upgraded Allen-Bradley controls and standard HMI touchscreen interface. The systems are made for customers who are seeing an uptick in business, but their existing packaging processes have limited automation. The TLS Series L-Sealers simultaneously make the end and side seal of one package, as well as the front seal of the trailing package. The TLS Series L-Sealers feature Texwrap’s patented Motion Trim Technology and include product rates that are low to moderate or where space is limited. It can package and seal a wide variety of products.

The Unicorn System
Elettric80 launched Unicorn, its new LGV model suited to the automatic handling of parent reels in the tissue paper sector and designed to reduce waste and to safeguard the quality of the finished product. The new handling system is equipped with two pins that act inside the reel core and with which the reel can be picked up and deposited with both vertical and horizontal axis. The first pin is expandable and enables to lift the reel from the inside, while the second pin is inserted in the lower part of the reel to support it and allow its rotation. The power supply with lithium batteries developed by Elettric80’s partner Flash Battery cuts energy consumptions by more than 25%.
