Sol Cuisine: Winners of the 2022 Product of the Year Canada

Sol Cuisine took home two Product of the Year Canada award wins in the Plant-Based Chicken and Gluten-Free categories. Sol Cuisine's Hot & Spicy Chik'n Wings and Cauliflower Burger were part of the largest consumer survey on product innovation performed by global research firm Kantar, which included 4,000 Canadian shoppers. Sol Cuisine's Hot & Spicy Chik'n Wings are 100% vegan, kosher and made with non-GMO ingredients. Sol Cuisine's Cauliflower Burgers are vegan, gluten free and non-gmo verified.

New Tabasco Sauce-Spiced Line at Expo West

Pipcorn announced that it will be expanding its product line to include its Spicy Cheddar Popcorn and Spicy Cheddar Cheese Balls, in partnership with hot sauce makers at TABASCO Brand. The new Spicy Cheddar varieties will retail for $4.49 and combine Pipcorn's heirloom super corn and real cheddar cheese with the flavor of TABASCO Original Red Sauce. Baked — not fried — the spicy and cheesy snack reportedly has 25% to 30% less fat than leading category favorites and are made with Non-GMO ingredients.

New Ultrasonic Self-Cleaning Mode Printheads

XAAR announced the launch of Sure Flow, an ultrasonic self-cleaning mode, designed to improve performance and not require the removal of the printhead at any stage of use. The company says that the product utilizes its TF Technology ink recirculation which makes it unlikely that a printhead will block. The company also says Sure Flow enables users to clear and prevent nozzle blockages without the need to remove the printhead.
