Wild Tonic Unveils Sedona-Inspired Rebrand

The new design reflects Wild Tonic’s Arizona roots, featuring red rocks and a cobalt blue background inspired by the Sedona night sky.

Wild Tonic, a brand of Jun (made with honey instead of cane sugar, like traditional kombucha), is proud to debut a refreshed packaging. Launching before year end, the renewed design will be featured on the brand’s 12 oz. glass bottles and slim cans, promising magic and fun while being true to the soul of the brand. Wild Tonic’s energetic packaging entices consumers to try their beverage by offering traditional nonalcoholic Jun, Kombucha’s better-for-you counterpart, in eight flavors: Blueberry Basil, Raspberry Goji Rose, Lavender Love, Blackberry Mint, Mango Ginger, Chai Pear, Rosemary Lemon, and Tropical Turmeric. Each flavor is crafted with natural ingredients such as pomegranate, honeysuckle, cinnamon, and spice flora.

The design is a nod to Wild Tonic’s Sedona, Arizona, roots, featuring a new logo that embodies the company’s true icon, honeybees, depicted as a constellation in the Sedona night sky. The red rocks of Sedona are also featured, complemented by a bold cobalt blue background meant to mimic the brand’s signature glass bottle color. The packaging is meant to evoke feelings of wonder and act as a reminder of our inherent wildness and the human affinity for the magic of nature.

Shake ‘N Bake Undergoes Brand’s First-Ever Packaging Update

Iconic household staple, Shake ‘N Bake, ushers in a new era for its signature packaging, announcing the removal of the plastic ‘shaker’ bag from its products. Effective across its full product portfolio, this is the brand’s first step towards a more sustainable future – and an easy way for fans to make a difference, as 73% of consumers say they want to use less plastic, but don’t know how.

In place of the "shaker" bag, fans are encouraged to shake using a reusable container as the vessel for adding that extra layer of crunch to their favorite recipes. In fact, this simple change to families’ mealtime routines is helping eliminate 900,000 pounds of plastic waste – equivalent to the weight of more than 270 mid-size cars.

Maine Crisp Debuts New Packaging, New Facility

Artisanal snack manufacturer Maine Crisp debuted new packaging at the grand opening of its production and retail facility in Winslow, ME, in October. With the production capacity increase afforded by the new facility, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on its national retail and ecommerce growth. This milestone offered ideal timing for a packaging redesign that reflects the product’s clean label and education about buckwheat, a superfood that is the foundation of Maine Crisp’s current and future product lines.

Grown along Maine’s Canadian border, the naturally gluten-free buckwheat inspired Maine Crisp founder and president Karen Getz to create a snack with purposeful ingredients for gluten-free and gluten-loving consumers. She launched the company in 2014 with one flavor, Cranberry Almond. The product line now offers four flavors, including its vegan option, Savory Fig & Thyme.

The new packaging employs illustrations of buckwheat, a soft color palette, and a window to convey approachability and transparency. Studio Linear, a creative firm founded in Maine, led the design.
