Compostable packaging for sports venues and mono-material meal trays that facilitate recycling are just some of the recent noteworthy developments in foodservice packaging.

2025 revealed that there are many paths to improved foodservice packaging. Eco-Products knocked it out of the park with their compostable packaging for the San Francisco Giants. HERMA took clamshell salad packaging to the next level with its high-speed labeling solutions. BiOrigin Specialty Products introduced an oil and grease resistant (OGR) paper that improves converting efficiency by eliminating paper curling and cracking issues.
