Stagione® Light has three size variants: 500ml and 750ml rectangular, and 1000ml square.

Colpac commissioned new machinery to develop its Stagione® Light products and has extended its Stagione® range to provide a wider choice and lower cost entry points, broadening its appeal.

This versatile new line can be used to serve hot or chilled dishes in foodservice environments; the grease resistant barrier and webbed design makes the packs leakproof when filled with wet, instant eat foods. Stagione® Light can also be utilized to package chilled food-to-go such as salads or baked goods in foodservice or retail environments.

Empty McFlurry standard size packaging next to miniature packaging

GMcDonald's Releases sustainable Packaging for New Mini McFlurry

The McFlurry you know and love is getting a makeover, with a craveable new size and updated packaging. Because it’s true what they say: good things come in small (and more sustainable) packages.

As of September 10, McDonald’s is rolling out the Mini McFlurry — a mini serving of everyone’s favorite sweet treat – to participating restaurants across the U.S. Whether classic OREO® is your go-to, you’re more of an M&M’s® loyalist, or you love to try our limited-time special flavors... this is one more delicious way to enjoy the McFlurry.

Got a friend who always wants "just a bite”? Instead of grabbing an extra spoon, you can grab them a Mini McFlurry of their own. Or maybe you’re looking for a quick afternoon pick-me-up... the Mini McFlurry is perfect for you, too.

McDonald's is also stepping up its commitment to sustainability by phasing out plastic McFlurry cup lids. Both the Mini and Regular McFlurry will now be served in a more environmentally friendly four-flap cup, which will help reduce waste and advance the company's goal of sourcing 100% of primary guest packaging from renewable, recycled or certified materials by the end of 2025.

“Packaging updates like this matter,” said Michael Gonda, SVP, Chief Impact Officer of North America for McDonald's. “Not only is this a fun new way for our U.S. fans to enjoy the McFlurry; we're also moving one step closer to fulfilling our packaging and waste commitments.”

The four-flap cups are currently available in several other international markets like Canada and Indonesia — and now, it’s finally time for U.S. fans to try them out.

The new Date Energy Bars, produced by Brawny Bear, are packaged using Pakka Limited’s compostable flexible packaging. This product not only offers a healthy snack option but also addresses the growing concern of packaging waste in India.

“Our partnership with Brawny Bear for these Date Energy Bars exemplifies our ongoing commitment to developing sustainable packaging solutions,” said Jagdeep Hira, India Business Head, Pakka Limited. “By combining our compostable flexible packaging with Brawny Bear’s healthy snacks, we’re not only offering consumers a nutritious option but also taking a significant step towards reducing packaging waste. Pakka Limited’s venture into compostable flexible packaging is a natural progression for the company, which has spent four decades producing compostable pulp, paper packaging solutions and molded tableware. Containing no added sugars, the energy bars are made with premium dates, aligning with Brawny Bear’s commitment to creating nutritious, naturally sweetened products.
